This reminds me of an old-school Beck track. If you don't like Beck please don't take offense, it's a compliment! Some of my favorite Beck stuff was from the Mellow Gold era.

i like this also...the drums are clangy and sharp, the melody is distant...the voice over is in my face...lo fi and hi fi all at once - we call that 'textures' i guess - nice work!
