Yo-Yo Ma uploaded this cello part on indabamusic and invited others to create with it. I thought it was a cool idea. I had help with this christmas song from Matthiew, a wandering Parisian trumpet player.

I hadn't read the "about" when I listened to this the other day. Similar story: that's how the initial track for gostmieuzakmusturd was recorded. I just woke up one morning and there was a really weird, swirling toilet bowl-like bass track on the tascam.

wow. never really listened to your stuff before this one. songs like this remind that i should stand silhouetted in a long grass prairie after some heroic deed. i've got nothing of my own to offer at the moment. it will be here when i do.

A friend sent me a loop he made on Reason, and I added a 2nd bass track and about 4 vocal tracks in various stages of aural legibility.
In the song I try to give a friend advice about how to stop his spiral downward. Starting with practical…
"live play experimentation" was referring to my high hopes for a band that has since totally dissolved. Love the vocal jumble on this one. And look at this... two more.
This is really a true story.
No, really...
And our holiday gift to you & your friends. (Feel free to download it and share it with anyone who you think might enjoy it.)
Oh... by the way... acl is finally waking from a very deep slumber…
I'm almost totally happy with this song except it is for the mix. I would appreciate any comments on how to improve it. Is too bassy and the mix has a big blip in the beginning where it gets louder for a second. I know I can fix some of that with…
So glad that I randomly stumbled into this room of the alonetone mansion. After the first tune, I was all in. I actually like the distant feel in the mix of this one. Hope to hear more soon.
I've been listening to the output of my *Reichenbach* Reaktor ensemble all morning as it loops and phase shifts a recording of Erik Satie's solo piano piece Gnossiennes-1
I find it to be quite beautiful and entrancing and I decided to render…
Left over audio from "How to Glu"
This one is about power and resistence.. which I find to be quite sexy when I think about it.
Instrumentation: distorted and clean acoustic guitar, swords, tabla, synth, drum programming, clapping, vocals.
lyrics:
i got a hot date
and you know i don't wanna be late
i need a ride
to the bowling alley
get ready cuz here i come
put my new skirt on
chewing peppermint gum
did my eyebrows fresh
white musk on my neck
part my hair to the right
cuz its…
I picture this being the opening song in a stadium appearance, stage dimmed, with colors of light sneaking around for those first :18 then BAM! Lights up. OH MY GOODNESS!! ...I'd like to see that someday.
Well now, this is actually a very old track, made back in March '09 and not that long after I started learning piano.
I was learning a very simple 12-bar blues piece and getting bored with the piano sound I started messing about with the Logic…
One of the things about my [Glitching Satie](http://alonetone.com/sandbags/tracks/glitching-satie-1) track that I wasn't comfortable with was that it wasn't my recording that I was using. But I'm nowhere near good enough to play a piece like Gnossiennes…
for REALZ, this is way far from being done. this is an oldie from a previous duo I was in, VC Andrews, (http://www.myspace.com/vcandrews) and i wanted to give it new life. Listen to the old version at the myspace page to hear how it's going to…

I can't hide the fact that I've listened to Pierre Bensusan. Or that I've longed to return to Paris.
Just a spontaneous (and very rough) two hour tune. Written and recorded yesterday, edited and mixed today. I might as well get it uploaded now because I'll be spending the next two weeks preparing to move across the country.

NOT FINISHED. another draft. just putting it up here so that i kick myself in the pants to flesh it out and write verses and whatnot and redo everything. great! this draft is continuously replaced with newer versions. check back, please! (oh yeah…
Ha, thanks to alonetone radio, I've gotten to this one first. Sounds great. You seem to have come to a great spot with your music where you are regularly producing substantive, quality music. Congrats! I look forward the next upload.

Brando... love this. I can't place the cello piece (shame on me) but still... this is beautiful!
Beautifully orchestrated.
Gorgeous track...
Really beautiful
what a beautiful job you did with this!
This thing gets gangsta real quick and unassuming-like
proper good stuff :)
great track, and a great sound. Very pro.
Wonderful chorus! All round great sound.
The first 30 seconds of 'Back To Zero' seemed quiet. Starting out pretty cool
Oh hell yeah! This one is nice! Love the grittiness juxtaposed with the smooth horns and acoustic. The beat is really sweet.
Very Cool, I enjoy the trumpet.

You guys are the best! Great story, great blues, great narration.

This is intensely dark. Ambient tracks like this can be hard to pull off. This is very well done.
This is wonderful. I think I could listen to this for hours. I used to spend a lot of time listening to Glass and Reich, thanks for reminding me.
This recording quality is great. Good atmosphere. So clear.
Oh. No wonder this song has been "kicking ass" for so long, it kicks ass. I'm going to go punch Jon Kyl in the back of the head.

This is really nice. Well titled.
These are some nice tunes you have here.
An new take on a favorite of mine. Nicely done.
2:06... 2:24... take it down... build it up... big smile on my face.
Really love this beat!
It's been too long since I've settled into a Sudara album. I heart every song.
Like walking through a dusty, hostile saloon.
I forgot how much I LOVE this song.
The sister can throw a vocal on anything of mine any day as far as I'm concerned.
These are beautiful.
The first 30sec sold me %100.
