I like the textures of the guitar here - it reminds me of Criss Oliva's playing at its most mellow. (Criss had been the guitarist from Savatage, but was killed in a car accident about 15 years ago.)
All first take improvisations. 8 tracks of madness for your enjoyment. Ear goggles will put you inside this piece. Not recommended for the faint of heart!
Recorded between 9AM - 7PM on the 26th of February.
Just an experiment from a while back using multiple delay units. I hated it initially, but after not hearing it for a few months I decided there were enough interesting moments to warrant sharing.

I loved it and just wanted to add some minor synth/vocal touches and make it even spacier. Thanks Kavin!
I figure if I keep trying long enough, I'll start channeling the great Django Reinhardt. Perhaps it's like squeezing blood from a stone but if I get a drop or two, I'm happy with that!

I just got Logic Pro X today. This track is the result of my efforts to learn how to use it. It's also the first time I've gotten the guitar and bass out of the closet since I recorded 8-Bit Time Machine.
Have to agree with Djork, prolly should'nt post this here. But I'd never heard them before, and when I did I went to amazon and bought their Let It Go ep. Great stuff!
She Will / Like the Rain
-
She came in like the rain
More than half a day past due
And I swear she looked the same
In the way dreams and memories never do
She passed me with a glancing smile
As I tried to look away
But her gaze could…

How I love a good tone cluster!! This is sending me running for the DL4 again
Love the orchestral affect you got on this one
Love that backing! Great bass hook!
Great track Kavin- thanks for sharing!! Love it
To kirklynch: yes, tap rhythm and bass looped on the DL4 then bounced to Rc20 to add more instruments and longer loops. thanks
Great fun man. Is That more DL4 that you used to do the bass part?
dizzy and inspiring visual moments in my head. slow motion and action-oriented. like a unicorn gracefully jumping off a cliff.
Short and very sweet.
Not bad for an evening's work, very nice.
this is a good one
love this!!!
Makes me think of the sea. Hypnotic.
This is really nice!
Blown away. I fear what you will do with an e-bow :-)
Ah- Liberal use of the DL4 I see!! Dig the slide with volume swell bits. Cool
Another great track; beautiful pedal steel(?) work!
Nice track; I like the finger-drumming on the fretboard.

Hey Joe: used various synth apps including Moog Filtatron and NLog synth, and some percussion sounds in Logic, and the usual BL guitar setup. Thanks!
Congratulations!
Nice!
Happy ending! You turned some people on to Fossil Collective and they sold some music!
