The way this started was amazing 🤩 as it worked into the next part that two hand separated and I think that there's a set is syncopated triplets in the lower hand going on. It's like oh btw here's some syncopated triplets for you closer to a kind of waltz with a type of ragtime over tone rhythm.. and you just go from there 😉 wow 😳

I like the moving dissonance. the chords vs the running of notes together is very powerful. are you able to improvise like that then "switch" hands the one doing the chords is now doing the runs and the one doing the runs switches to chords?? or is it that only the one hand can do runs and the other chords?

the repeated chord with the wondering single notes going about their way is just so great --- I waa thinking like this with piano just before I listened here --- it was like you knew what I was thinking...

This is interesting - there is this hint of Debussy in the chords and melodies (especially in the first half) but they come across in an Ivesian fashion - as though through shattered glass. Thank you for another fantastic piece !

Repetitive single notes... I have always loved.. and the dissonances just perfect.. I feel that dissonance on a piano 🎹 is really good.. it's a kind of music I like more than a harmony and standard chords.. thanks for sharing this and playing.. wonderful 👍
