Am I the only one who thinks this recording needs to be cranked up to between -10 and -15 dbs? I have the tools to boost this and at the same time eliminate any hiss/floor noise that might get boosted as well, if y'all are interested. Just say, "go for it" and tell me where to send the edited file.

Outstanding . . .
I can hear Melissa and the rest of us harmonizing. Colin's bass is keeping us together and Scott's mandolin just brings it over the top.
Great song and lots of fun!
Happy Sunday Alonetoner's.
I wrote this song yesterday as I had some recent events to ponder.... I hope you like it. Trying for a bit of a bluesy feel. If you'd like to download it and add some background blues bass or guitar, or harmonies…

I start smiling every time your voice pans to the other speaker. That's fun!
Nice song. Andrew has the stuff. I think he's right on, although it may not stop Colin and I adding a little something.
Think of it as putting plastic Pink Flamingos in the yard. It may not add much, but you just feel good about it.

This is my first upload. I mostly have a vocal here. It's a song that I'd love to get some collaboration on from the guitarists in the community. Let me know what you think?
Here is my contribution to the latest song writing challenge posted in the Alonetone Forum.

Who Knew when I first met you
That all your troubles would be mine
And you’d be coming around again…
from the Poisonous EP
wait for the worry lines, the worry lines
to disappear
they get me every time, me every time
that you are near
won’t let you get inside, this heart of mine
i must be strong
you knew you’d get to me, you’d get to…
I did this about 2 years ago and only found it the other day.
I think it sounds like something Robbie Williams would sing - and not really my style or cup of tea. It's a bit anthemic "come on and join in" (no thanks). Add to that I my singing…
Original. I wanted to paint a picture of a long, cold walk through the pouring rain. The longer you listen the stranger the atmosphere becomes. It could be haunted!
Imagining my band imaginary band in my head on one of those 60's type music shows. Just having fun with this one nothing too serious lyrically like solving world peace or finding high consciousness ..although it really is a true story.
Last of the archives for now. A set of reels from the Last Nights Fun album. I did pipes, whistle and guitar on the last tune in the set. There's a live version of this up here too. This is the studio cut
I was down at the station
Catch the Greyhound to Go My Way
And I heard the loudspeaker
We’ll be leaving some time today
You just Say no thank you
When I ask you to be mine
I’ll be looking for that green light
When I ask you the next…
I don't know how you do it! Another classic!!! That lonesome twang on the guitar is so perfect. And wow! that harp is killer. Love the lyrics! Especially the chorus

Greta tune Colleen...I love the lyrics, you guys sound really good together...wish I could have been there to jam....
You two are on a roll. Very nice-- to all in your group… always love mandolins.

Can't wait to hear your live version of this!
Does it for me....
My wife would love this.
When I get a chance, I'll play along with my harp to see how it sounds with it. Nice sound!
Ha!! Thanks Greg! Looks what happens when you show me how to use the mixer tools!!!

Thanks so much Gene! I really appreciate the supportive feedback.
I agree with what Andrew Russe -- this one doesn't need anything else!
Thanks Andrew! Much appreciated!
I know you can probably hear the "other stuff" - but I kinda like these unaccompanied ones, your voice easily carries the whole thing.
What a voice! Looking forward to hearing more.
Beautiful stuff
Uplifting loveliness.
That's some beautiful piano...beautiful vocal too...
Soooo pretty.
There you go. Nice with an English muffin and a cuppa - Hawaiian blend.
