This is the first real attempt at recording this properly and its got some way to go. It needs a guitar solo and vocoders and so on. But this is some of what I did in my 24 hour slot. I battled with my vocoders and lost :(

nice! I take stabs at club music, but I get impatient after about 3 minutes or so. This grooves nicely for the entire 9! cheers

words fail me right now, so I will just include the music. fretless bass, electric and acoustic guitars, tambourine, fake drums, emotions.

Wow, I wasn't expecting such nice response! Thanks for the comments everyone, I'll have to go on an instrumental spree for a bit now :) @Sister Savage - it's an upright bass, but I agree, it sounds very much like a cello in this case.

when i feel like i have something worth saying i suppose. or when someone else does ;) I've been working on some lyrics, but nothing 'serious' has been written. just ideas at this point.

Filho Sumido is portuguese for "Lost Son". Its my little bossa way of describing what its like to be away from the place I love, Brazil. Like a lost son. Someday I may make an english version - but then, maybe not. After all, its about Brazil…

Close your eyes, and come with me. It is a warm Autumn eve in the Black Forest. There are ancient folk tales about this magical wood... how late at night it comes to life with mischievious fairies and wood nymphs. Any mortal who hears the unusual…

A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009

White Light was written in June along with 10 other "Off the cuff" tunes. Just before the great flood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our house was flooded and slowly being rebuilt. This is 4th of the 10 to be recorded.

A happy song about being left by your no-good spouse. There's a word for the attitude in this song but I can't think of it right now ... this is now a tidied up version 18/3/09
