red cowboy and hot burrito were recordings done for a friend of mine who wanted to check out his new (old) drum machine. Both drum parts are constructed from prerecorded beats (from presets or previous owner, I don't know) and have 4-5 bass tracks…

Oooh - ambient guitar stuff!! Just today I was thinking about doing someting like this for my next rpm project - just to make a complete departure from what I normally do. But since you're already doing it - and doing it so well - I think I need to find another angle. Anyway - thanks a lot, great stuff!

The only track on the album with vocals. Also the first song I wrote for the album. Inspired by Iron and Wine.

This is your only singing on the album, no? It sounds good! You could sing more if you wanted! (Sorry if you prefer instrumentals; I am biased towards wordy songs...)

I think you posted this early on in Feb on rpmc - fell in love instantly and thought that I gotta check this guy out some more. Good thing I found you here! Love your songwriting, and you have your production chops totally down.

Just lovely - it takes some stones to write such a stark song - you have to really have talent - and you do! Hate to make comparisons, but your stuff reminds me of the best bits of PJ Harvey.

Very nice "Classical-noir" feel to it (and I can see we both like rain sounds (check out my "Goodbye French Johnny" track). The 'car crash' really stopped me in my tracks! Well done - and thanks for your kind words about my work.

Love this track from start to end. I really like the drums/ambient sounds/bass/ at around 3:50. A very nice 'series of demos;' I look forward to hearing more.

that is not a sample you hear in the background, it is the dryer going. leave it in? okay, sure i'll leave it in. it's these artistic decisions we're all forced to make.

Rough sketch of a proposed dreamy 12 string piece that I couldn't pull off on the 12 string so did this quick electric version with vocal pads. Not sure of the recording quality- sounds OK in my cans and kinda crappy on my monitors. Recorded march…
