I know why you love The Starry Night
I know why you weren't all right
I know why you couldn't stay
I know why you're here today
I know why you couldn't see
I know why, 'cuz you were me
I know why you loved to paint in blue
I know why…
I take it the hurried part in the middle is when the cat suddenly decided "I need to be somewhere else like RIGHT NOW", and scampered off at light speed.
This is ridiculously good. I've been asking myself lately where I've heard this amazing song before, and I keep having to remind myself it was earlier this February. It has taken a place in my mind as something I've heard on the radio. It's that good.

Beautiful. A song rich with character and sonic charm.
Love the feel of this. A sweet song that grabbed me from the get go and took me on a sunny ride. Very nice.
Very cool guitar sounds and a great vocal! Love your sound.
Happy to see people digging this simple arrangement with harmonized vocals. I happen to love it as well, so thanks, gang!
Yep, AMUC, that's the sound of a cat running the length of the house and back in about 3 seconds. :)
I love it

Thanks Kevin, for all the hard work in producing, composing, directing, and performing on this collection.
Brilliant from the first note. My jealousy for your guitar skill knows no bounds. A masterful album, my friend.
LOVE this.
Nice pickin'! Vocal treatment making me happy too.

This is lovely.
Loved this song from the first note I heard at the start of the month. So beautifully arranged.
Dang. Just masterful songwriting, musicianship, vocal talent, production quality.
This is absurdly good. Reminds me of Maine folk singer/songwriter Jud Caswell. Just beautiful. And that chorus. Oh my.

Touching, pensive and on point - good one for James!
