Hmmm... MY GarageBand doesn't have a tuba sound. I'd have used it if it did! Good choice for a country solo instead of the usual weeping pedal steel! :-D
how funny that we can lose our little tunes at times and how cool that they can b rediscovered,, oh and don't let me forget to add,, A VERY NICE SONG thanks and were all lucky now that you have found and shared this

Oh what a great song to listen to on this day of -45 degrees below here in Minnesota. You two do an especially beautiful job presenting the music and the thought. :) c
Written by John Turner from his new release The Whole Shabang.
John on Drums & Lead vocal,
me on all guitars and backing vocals
and Ken Hornoff on bass and recorded at his Tukar studio.
First time we did the power trio thing!
A song about people who've been in and moved on in our life - maybe a lullaby of sorts... thanks for listening to my latest.

Just finished running sound for the Second Act Players’ production of "Finding Gladys" and enjoyed putting together original music to use for a theme, a soap opera, and scene changes. The song 'Getting To Know You' from the musical "The King And…
Ok, not the best thing I've done, but it seems that 1/ It has become a chore to even pick up my guitar. 2/ And to go and record. Old age getting to me ?!?!?!
Phew! Song 10 of my RPM 2024 done. Well, this is more of an experimental piece...I threw a bit of everything in...prophet synth, electric guitar, and even some crowd noise (I loved it when Bjork did that so...). The power cutout just as I was…
First Day of the 2024 RPM challenge .... so here is Song 1
I'm experimenting with my old analogue synth (Prophet 6) this year
Thanks to anyone who listens! A gloomy song for gloomy times. Onward!
One day
You’ll find
It’s over, it’s over…
It’s fun to find you again for RPM. It’s like coming across an old friend. I’ve listened to your first three RPM entries. I’m noticing a theme and you are off to a great start. Good luck/Have Fun.
It's now 12:00 am....so Song 2 for RPM is as done as it will be!
In this tune I'm experimenting with vocal layering and using my analogue synth (my guitar and piano are giving me the skunk-eye). Thanks again for anyone listening out there…
3rd Song for RPM. Getting this done was filled with late night torture.
You tried so hard
You tried so hard
But you’re not there
You’re not there
You’re not there
You’re not there
You made your way
Oh you made your way
But…
Another Minnesota Coffee Table Song! Written and recorded “live” in one evening.
Memories: Written and performed by John Bennet, Joe Passofaro, Mark Lofgren, Colleen Dillon & Greg Connor. Listen to Minnesota Homebrew Radio w/ Carl Unbehaun…
After Greg Connor wrote this for me a while back, I kept listening to it every time I was feeling tired of winter, which at this time of year is several times a day. Somehow every time I listened to it, it reminded me of my dad. I know he would…
Uploaded just in time for the 2013 peak of the Perseid meteor showers of 2013, which I definitely won't see, as our autumnal "maritime" (i.e. sh**ty) climate is doing its thing.
This is my arrangement of a wonderful romantic tune by the inimitable…
Oh Carl, this is a real gem! You caught me with the “walking the ditches for road kill”. That’s poetry!
Oohhhh, I just heard the “cousins” part.
OUTSTANDING!
Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
I like the rattle… makes me think that this peson is a real snake. And the tuba cracks me up, too. Send the jerk a copy

Stretching the boundaries. Minimal instrumentation carried by a heavy drum groove. It sounds good!
Interesting sound of drum and vocal. It’s a real toe tapper.
