I, like you, use to do electric guitar in my HS years, but also migrated to acoustic. Is that progress? I think so -- this song here would be much less effective if juiced up with distortion and wah wah and the other toys of our youth. This song is hard core as it is, and needs no electricity to get its message across.
One of my other hobbies is watching wildlife in the area. I'm the happiest with a pair of binoculars around my neck and my hiking boots laced up.

I recon this is my favorite Connor tune thus far. That is some coolacious strumming -- quite nifty in fact. The vocals and harmonica are exceptional. Yeah, this one really does in for me.

Such gorgeous picking, and awesome vocals, and as I said below from my Merry Bear account, fabulous lyrics. It's an overall brilliant composition. You really have reached a higher level, and you were up there to begin with. <3 <3 <3

Nice tune. I'm getting a sense that the roller coaster of Life is hitting one of the low spots for you at the moment. I was at a CSN concert back in the 80s, where David Crosby, introducing the song said. "When life lands you in serious sh**, you do the only thing you CAN do... CARRY ON!" And the boys launched into it. And It Was Good.

Great lyrics, love the Simian reference.
I once read a book about difficult people,
but he tore it up and tossed it out.
The tune is tight and druid in feel. I so like this one 5 stars

I was looking through my messages and found this collab i did with Kari a while back in 2017 i had forgotten all about. so pleased i found it thanks Kari
Do you ever have an idea / song that you just need to get out of you and recorded, even though it's so rough that you'll want to re-do it over and over again? This is one of those for me....
Drive Until The Signal Dies
Verse 1
Your Silence…
Now that’s a powerful song! I could feel the emotion dripping out of it. Great visual image of “drive until the signal dies”. Well done! You have raised the standard for all of us . . . again.
(Remastered 22/10/2021)
Now here's a bit of an oldie - the second song I ever wrote. In... 1978!
I think I played it once, or maybe twice, at school assemblies. My musical peers and colleagues back then dismissed it as corny/rancid pop music…
That’s a long way back! Long before any of us could easily record at home. It’s a fun song that you have held onto all these years.
I wonder we’re the next generation of musicians are? The garage bands, kids dragging instruments around, all that seems to be gone. You’re song has managed to bring back the memories of my youth.
This is the last song on The edge of Winter but it is not finished there is another part yet to be written ...
Winter's tale of woe : Part 1 - The end of winter. Part 2 - The last snowstorm
GONE - My sequester song...
Chain wrapped around the dog park gate
Weeds growing on the school yard lawn
Where has everybody gone
The chairs are stacked
And the stage is dusty
And my strings are getting rusty...
(C) Royal T Music
You know this story the apple tree, the snake.
it takes Hope and latin drums to kill a snake
don't leave home without your hand drum and you will thrive
The desert heat can twist a mode as the ears suffer a mirage .
Twist twisted spin in the heat your senses are turned senselessly swirling octaves high
Made possible by Gibson’s brilliant P - 90 ‘s

Just a “feel good” song as we burn some lunch on the grill.
Beautiful message and wonderful song! It’s been a great Summer my friend. Here is the summary: https://alonetone.com/MTBottles/tracks
Sounds like the gal I’ve been looking for all my life.
Jazzy! Nice work on this one. You really made something of this.
Another great groove. Your mixing and overall sound is outstanding.
I love the sound of that electric guitar!
4 Track? I remember those days. Sounds like fun.
Different and beautiful. I like the build and drop, high/low contrast in the song.
I think you guys in Holland are having more fun than we are over here. One after another KC ! Keep them coming.
Lots of fun, my fellow Zoomers.
You got the groove. Those licks really caught me. Nice reminder of a band called Dirty Thump. You post one great song after another. Great listening pleasure.
I love that wooden acoustic sound. Nice little hook in there. It’s another winner Andrew.

Great imagery! Who would have thought a year ago that we would have a summer like this?
I’m liking the tones you’re getting on your guitar.
Dancing in my jammies this morning!
Beautiful and soothing . . . Very pleasant.
