"are you a Gong fan? back in the early '90's my band at the time (1/2 Chicken) hosted a Kevin Ayers solo show here in Rochester..."
Gong were part of my listening experience back in the day. I also have loose associations with members and ex members of Hawkwind and Here and Now, who know Daevid Allen and co :) Thanks for the comments :))
hey thanks! i just realized that i could return a comment! duh! anyway... this is my ode to Mick Karn, who passed away in January. i tried to emulate not so much his bass technique, but his sound. the guitar and drums also come from a Karn/Sylvian/Jansen place of influence.
Really enjoyed this. It started up after I was listening to something else, and I looked at 7:07 and I thought "oh dear"...
But I never pressed stop! It kept my interest going all the way.
