I remember seeing the Earth,
As this great thing,
With grass and trees growing out of it,
At the speed of light,
Yet perfectly still,
Detailed and furry,
With the clouds and blue sky,
It looked infinite,
Alive,
Then I looked to one side…
Go where no one has gone before,
Right through your mind's eye,
What a bejewelled gift this is,
You don't need a television set,
Or an automobile to travel in,
You don't need permission,
To Discover,
Who, what, and where,
You really are...

Wow! The balance between contrasting sounds here is so good it feels ridiculous even calling attention to it - there are always two very different tonalities and sonorities working against one another, building tension and then transitioning into a different pairing - really interesting and fun. Pretty highly evolved stuff, or at least it sits on my ear that way. Great development throughout the track.
Here's another piece I wrote for my buddy Ron's Documentary about the Tuareg people of Niger... check out the website, and watch some clips from the movie about BAMBINO!!

We live in an age nowadays where a celebrity can endorse a product or service long after they meet with the proverbial reaper.
Has anybody bothered to ask the dead guy if he wants to endorse half…

Memories of old magazines gathering dust on the shelves with things you never could let go of.
Dirty chess sets hardly touched. Empty bottles of cheap scotch you never could get enough of.
And it's a shameful world…
Well, I had this crazy idea that *maybe* Buddy Guy was using some microtonal inflections in his cover of Tramp (which are what the "blue notes" are and thought it would be cool to cover it with my fretless guitar. As it turned out it was my ear…

Re: Lugnasadh ~ Thanks for the feedback mate! :D It got you up and dancing? Maybe you dropped a pill? ;) I went to a psytrance festival a couple of years back and this track I made in Reason around that time. I remixed it in Logic this year to iron out what I felt where it's initial shortcomings.
I'm going through something of a dark time at the moment and it's a rare evening I actually have something tangible to show for it. Mostly it's frustration, depression, and a blanket of grey despair. Tonight was different and I can only hope that…
Didn't really grab me at first, but after about 5 minutes in 'click' and I'm loving it. I'm definitely planning on downloading a bunch of your tracks for offline headphone listening while armed with one of those funny cigarettes. ;)
Here's to insignificance my friend. May you never be squashed like a bug.
Instruments used: Kontakt, LoopShifter, Stylus RMX
Effects used: Eos, DubStation, Replicant, Augustus Loop
More LoopShifted piano accompanied by Stylus RMX and Omnisphere. At over eight minutes it's perhaps a little self-indulgent but maybe it's more like punting down the river Styx than jet-skiing on a lake of fire.
Very cinematic, I love the space in it, makes me imagine a self-luminated living cave system. I'll be listening again on a nice pair of headphones later on tonight. Keep it coming! :)
Dead to the World
Just a shade
A specter, a ghost
No place amongst the society of perfect being!
Dead to the World
Alien, unwanted
Not here, unseen
Untagged, uncounted
Lost, unwanted, despised, no home, no place, no Soul!
Dead…
Good stuff, the title drew my attention straight away. Thanks for the positive comment BTW. I was hoping there might be some LFO on Spotify, unfortunately not, but the wikipedia entry helped me find a couple of tracks to listen to. Always good to discover new (to me) artists, an interesting link with Nightmares On Wax too, favourites of mine. :)

Scrunchy goodness, a sense of falling over, bizarre use of the stereo field in the last minute. Thanks for sharing. :)
