Memories of Old Magazines
Mike Denison (Lumberfork)
… again … for Randy.
Memories of old magazines gathering dust on the shelves with things you never could let go of.
Dirty chess sets hardly touched. Empty bottles of cheap scotch you never could get enough of.
And it’s a shameful world it seems when you can outlive your dreams, but I wish you would’ve.
Fithy glasses by your chair. Cigarette smoke in the air staining pictures of your sons yellow with tar.
Books from college classes rest unread for decades on a chest full of Sherlock Holmes and antique model cars.
And it’s a shameful world it seems when you can outlive your dreams, but I wish you would’ve.
There's gonna come a day when with the advancement of technology beautiful music like this will be able to be reproduced by the authors themselves and go to the top.
Oh Man.... From the opening 4 notes I knew I was Here to Stay! What a Great Great Song!
Good one.
