Cyborgs conquer the planet, crushing resistance and enslaving the human race. The cello represents the people who ignore the destruction and carry on as normal, like the orchestra playing on the deck of the Titanic as it went down.
Are you kidding me???!!!??? This is extremely badass music, I would try to get away with a crime listening to it. That good! The guitar has a slight ly "junky" sound that should be patented - Love it. Very cool, I love it

Thanks Tom. I'm not sure if the mix of instruments worked. I was trying to contrast the power of the invasion with the futility of resistance and panic of the human survivors, but perhaps I was being a bit ambitious. It was fun though, and if you listen carefully at the beginning you will hear my dog getting in on the act. She heard me shouting and ran in barking, thinking that there was really someone (or something) here! I had to laugh!

I really like the mix of sounds you have going on here, Steve! The highest complement I know to pay is to say that it reminds me of a mix of AC Newman's "Town Halo" and Buckethead's best album, "Population Override" (which also tells a sci-fi story across several instrumentals). That said, you obviously have your own muse and it's one I appreciate.
That beer on the table yours or mine?
I only left the room for a short time.
If you've gone and switched them I'm gonna be sad,
Cos that beer was the best one that I ever had.
Don't drink my beer, you hear?
I'm counting to 4 just to make…

Thanks Tom. Boring the listeners is my greatest fear! Yes, I suggest headphones because there is a swirling stereo effect which only works properly with headphones on, as you rightly guessed. This song is about the rise of the Cyborgs, from initial communications to a robotic type march on humanity, a la Terminator style.
Thanks DJ Ursine. I can't take all of the credit for this. I use loops mostly, and the timing takes care of itself on the app I use. An ear for what will work, and some imagination helps, but I guess I'm more of a DJ than a musician.
Cool experimental sounds you have here, Steve! I really appreciate how you never rest on your laurels by relying on a formula. Instead you push your sounds in new and exciting ways--it's quite inspirational. So what's this one about? Does h/phones suggest we should be listening to this with headphones to get the desired effect? I can def see how this would be even more impactful w/ headphones!

Synths are meant to represent the fast beating heart of the technological city, with its busy trains and industrious people. The breathing is life, and the cheerful keyboard is supposed to be the fun and excitement of life in a city with a flourishing…

Thank you Tom and AMUC. They are professional loops, except for the two synths which I played at the beginning and repeated. The timing takes care of itself once you have set the speed up. It's choosing what to use, how to arrange it and make it sound interesting is the fun and challenge of it for me. I'm grateful for your feedback.
RPM17
1/10
First song on RPM 17....eh first song on RPM ever lol
Really glad I made this one.
I had to dig up an old VHS tape (anyone remember those?) for the audio sample in this track.
The hardest part about making this tune was actually…

Thanks launched! It's great to inspire action and response with my music, but don't get yourself arrested buddy! : )
Oh, and all the fancy funky swirly curly tones and beats make me want to defy authority!

Thanks Tom, happy to oblige

Thanks reefwalker and Tom. Glad you enjoyed it. I will write the lyrics up.
Like it! Very short.
Nice arrangement. Cool!
Like the singing. Beck's songs are a bit melancholic. You perform this very well. Good job!
Nice version Tom. Tone of it sounds great. Suits your style.
Great cover : )
Thanks Brett

Great vocals, imaginative, progressive and listenable song. Love it!
Stylish, unique, effective, fun, enjoyable, kind of early 70s experience for me. Great work Brett!
Love the arrangement. Reminiscent of old Ash for me. Great tone on the guitar. Great job!
Interesting cocktail : )
Very nice. Cool guitars and laid back feel.
Lovely vocals. Well performed as usual Tom. I'm sure most of us can relate to this subject.
Another song, not sure who Jim is criticising again. Clever lyrics, and I think you deliver them simply and yet effectively. Good work!
Nice version Tom. Don't know the song or whether it's literally about another person, or religion, or what? It's sad, but I like it.
Thanks for your lyrics and vocal performance Tom. Kind of brought it to life!
Thanks fairynuff : )
Like it. Good job and nice arrangement :)
Nice one. Movin' to this groove
