I’m moving in a bumper car,
I’m living like a shooting star.
I feel fine,
when I’m,
on the edge of the front line.
I’m inclined,
for shine and wine,
others never crossed my mind.
And in the end gravity always wins,
you can find some time,
to skirt aside,
but you’ll hit that firing pin.
And in the end gravity will pull you in,
if you fan the flame,
then cast no blame,
when you’re drowning in bathtub gin.
You really don’t get my pain,
Every day I need to ascertain,
if I’ve backed,
the right track,
need to find some space to breathe.
I’m starting out,
in a field of doubt,
need some way to cut my teeth.
But in the end gravity always wins,
you can find some time,
to skirt aside,
but you’ll hit that firing pin.
And in the end gravity will pull you in,
if you fan the flame,
then cast no blame,
when you take one on the chin.
Playgrounds and paper crowns,
Give way to proper nouns
But when in life does
Anything, stay the same.
Now that I’m moving on,
And running life’s marathon,
A fresh breeze,
bringing expertise,
coming in out of the blue.
The winds of change,
are feeling strange,
but welcome new points of view.
In the end gravity always wins,
you can find some time,
to skirt aside,
but you’ll hit that firing pin.
In the end gravity will pull you in,
if you fan the flame,
then cast no blame,
when you lose that light within.
