Back Snapped

This is only the second song I’ve ever written on the guitar - I’m playing acoustic and rhythm… and you can tell I’m a beginner 😆 Happily the rest of the instrumentation is a little more polished.

No sugar coating this… It’s a very melancholy song. Lyrically I don’t think it’s that obtuse but I wanted to convey the feeling that many people are having right now of watching their livelihood and sense of purpose slowly slip away while not being able to do anything about it - and the psychological strain that accompanies it.

The vocals were warbled into an iPhone; not ideal but this song needed the story to accompany the music.
