Another voyage out into the unknown with my newly acquired guitar that I’m learning to play… The first part reminds me a bit of ‘Will You’ by Hazel O’Connor…
Lyrically it starts quite bleakly but goes on a bit of journey, ending on a positive.
I normally play bass by finger-picking but I wanted to give this a more retro feel so all of the bass parts are done with a plectrum (which I struggle with) - hence why the bass lines are fairly unadventurous!!
In the absence of a microphone (and funds to get it!) the vocals were recorded on an iPhone 😳
