Thanks Dave! To be honest, i don't remember the tonal vs modal differences.. i read about it in some books years ago, but i can't remember now. Anyway, i could write the score in MuseScore and print it to a pdf if you want to take a look at it. I'm so sorry i couldn't answer your question... but i can feel some barroque influence in this little one.
This one comes from an old jam from about 20 years ago. Made some changes and arrengements. It always made think of 'fishermen', thus the title, wich i took from the Edgar Allan Poe's short story 'A Descent into the Maelström'.

Saddly, i didn't saved it, and the program crashed, and i lost all the work... it was almost finished. I think that was the reason why it came to my mind to use it. Thanks again!!
Thanks Kirk! May be one of these days i'll be more carefull on the playing and recording... It's kind of messy the way i do it, and it's always full of mistakes. Anyway, this way it sounds fresh i pressume.. or may be i'm wrong and it sounds like i'm a noob guitarrist. Whatever.. thanks again Kirk!
I found a cassette tape the other day from 1991 which turned out to be live to 2 track demos that Scartaglen did in the studio in preparation for our 3rd and (as it turned out) final album. This tune didn't make the cut for the record but I always…
This is a composition from July's '96, and it could be said that it belongs to a period in which i was listening to, and composing, in a kind of 'baroque' style, very influenced by J. S. Bach. I hope you like and/or enjoy it.
Thanks Kirk!! I didn't feel comfortable enough with the equalization or something... but if you say it's ok, so it couldn't be that bad after all! Thank you very much!!
An experiment I recorded yesterday with a rig I put together for more or less ambient sounds using two loopers and nearly every effects unit I own. I have no idea who Clark was but he owned the '58 Harmony Stratotone that I used on this cut. His…

No need to wonder why
Time stands still in her…
