the thing i really really really really love about the chord progression is the last chord of each phrase in the chorus. how it goes THERE, instead of There.

Barney! "Ears held hostage" wow! Thanks, my friend. Really digging your more recent stuff.. Cannot wait to hear the finished EP! Good luck, and hope you are enjoying the new gear!
We found a nice bathroom, and, moved by whimsy, decided to write this little shuffle for y'all. Took us about 15 minutes to write and record. It'd lose its spontaneity, otherwise, no?

this is beautiful. What a lovely theme! I know what you mean about composing. When I sit down at a piano something magical comes over me... have to get one.
You know when you're creating something and it comes out exactly how you wanted it, and then it becomes you favorite? This one is still my favorite and has not been dethroned yet.

yeah it is confusimicating! I have no clear answer for you! Most folks here respond by commenting back on their own tune just as you did, but it's not protocol by any means. cheers, and thanks for listening!
Brief musical sketch, to be transformed into a teary-eyed country weeper.

I got word this morning that my dog died sometime overnight, following his emergency surgery.
It's never easy to lose a pet, but I find it's especially difficult when they're young and you were expecting to spend many more good years with them…
Well, this is why I don't play drums. It's the best Moon I could pull off. I keep hammering the gtr riff over and over, but it's because it was so much fun to play. Its structure is a little too meandering in hindsight, but oh well. For whatever…

I did not do the 24 hour challenge but I did try and hang around in the chatroom as much as possible with Glu, SisterS, and ChrisM while they battled through it.
At about midnight…
A track created for a character called Rainy, on the North walk (entitled "Life Is Monumental") of "Charm City Remix", a site-specific narrative by Kianga Ford.
NOT FINISHED. another draft. just putting it up here so that i kick myself in the pants to flesh it out and write verses and whatnot and redo everything. great!
I've been slacking, so here's something new finally.
I left flubbed notes in this one. I hate MIDI editing in Ableton Live.
I often think of ending this affair and going back to my sweetheart, Logic.
agree with kirk.. love how it 'falls into place' --and I'm a sucker for piano. I agree that Live's midi editor leaves much to be desired; I thought v8 would have at least made the grid easier on the eyes. btw, thanks for listening to the 24h .. you should do it sometime; loads of fun and insanity.
