Here I attempt to articulate a few distinct feelings of the home, or the affect of cultivating one’s own space, or not.
Instrumentation: house keys, pots and pans, long bamboo flute, synth, drum programming, voice(s), and didgeridoo (a real one, Eucalyptus branch hollowed out by termites). The sitar at the end was found on freesound- I could not resist after discovering this site (in greater depth) last month. I might upload some samples onto there soon. I particularly like the 3 different scales overlapping in the end of this track. Perhaps western, middle eastern, and eastern scales?
a wonderful bouncing and fluttering experience. The not so subtle driftaway ending is so sweet.
Lovely. A wonderful adventure from start to finish. Like Sister Savage, I was caught wondering "who *is* this" - should have known better :)
it begins as an indonesian march. perhaps a malay in the melee with a backpack of dinner. it then becomes lighter. it is evening after dinner on the mountain. the stars come out and dance on clouds of the moon. a didgeridu paints tasmanian cave images, however, the sitar brings a scent of indian curry to the table. it is an international feast. 0x0
