Musical piece about the fairy adventures of toys on and around the Christmas tree, and all that.
For us, the boring adults realists, such a story is ridiculous, but not for them - for children who listen to tales with bated breath. For them…

To Richard (with thanks for listening btw):
...well constructed: No, I almost do not use MIDI, this is a live recording from one of my local concerts, Yamaha Clavinova, and the second part is same live recording, but with live switching to Yamaha Clavinova / Rhodes.
...two different pieces: here it is presented as it was played (as one piece, in two parts). At a local album that I released, it was in two pieces, one after another, without the 2 seconds pause. A small problem of net-music is that it became difficult to release a concept album as me, a composer, has designed it. So here I've put this play in such a "pristine" (say - original) form
Some effects, as well as the sounds of the summer forest from our countryside house, were appended to the record later, when mixing. For ~the mood~

wonderful playing,,,the first piano part is particularly well constructed, recording or midi? the sound is great, the synth/electric organ? adds a very different sound style,,, also very nice, i think if it was me, i might have made them into 2 different pieces,, (but that's me) id love to hear your thinking on this creative decision... take care Richard

Well, Kai and Gerda have returned home, all wonderful and all that. And who would think of the poor Snow Queen? After all, she, too, is experiencing her own way. She was left alone in his ice palace, and quietly weeping. She has come to eternity. She wins.
Reg was talking to Elvis last night and Elvis came out with something so simple and profound "you can't hide from the man inside" and this got Reg thinking....................
Yeah!
The man inside of me walking, running, rushing, sleeping. No way out. Oh, and they are becoming more and more... My Reg, where art thou?

I almost do not use midi - it is boring and requires programming (even if it's one of my majors), which in the live music has no place. Frank has turned up at Reg's cellar with Louis and the Duke with a tune that Frank is claiming to be about his latest love affair, so naturally Reg switched on his tape recorder........

This solo studio dub jam was created and recorded in about 8 hours of play time one day. As usual, it starts with a simple drum machine track, then fretless bass, then keys, guitar, then a Balinese kecak drum and a tbilat drum and finally melodica…
This tune was written on the day I bought my vintage Yamaha CP-25 electric piano and returned to hear that Dennis Hopper had passed away. I fired up the gear and cranked this out. The sound of the piano made me feel like Ray Manzarek...thus the…

The guitar, as an instrument to express yourself, demands presence of internal force and spirit. Here it is.

He didn't think to look back. Incidentally, he can not - he's a wolf. Only forward, without fear and unnecessary doubts! Where is the light..?

Winter is a time for reflection and to prepare to wake up. To revive forces. To thaw out... See - it comes!

What song is on the air? Oh, don't you know? This is Reg, crooner. And an orchestra.
Piano, pauses, and then just silence. Glyphs.
Pretty little understated tune because I used a very old very and dusted and aged instrument; whistles - it's a bird, bird... :-)
