Continuing the delay project of the last several nights spun off by Sunday's inspiration. This piece recorded on 12-string, heavy delay and overlay. Stay tuned for where I'm going...
After not having played for a while I was inspired by a Steve Tibbetts sound and tried to recreate it and failed. This came out. The title was indeed misinterpreted words not intended and not really about this piece of music but in a sense was.

Kavin some lovely stuff and nice edits, transitions. Like the distortion quality on the near ending acoustic and electric blend before your finish. Congrats on a good month of dailies. Impressed.
From December 2017, my take on an old classic, with a little twist of a bonus number near the end. It may be the first tune I did in 6/8 time, at least that anyone has heard from me. This (sort of) should have a rolling highlands sound to it…
Thanks for listening and commenting on my track In 2. I'm returning the favor and the support. Well produced and interesting techno to my ears. Keep the muse going!
song#2 for RPMC2016
Expiration date
A rough month for rock stars
All the good ones are leaving
It's about that time
Just the songs remain and
Public grieving
I read the news today oh no
When you died they wrote you up

acapella vocal loop
In the bleak midwinter
Frosty wind made moan
Earth stood hard as iron
Water turned to stone
Snow had fallen
Snow on snow on snow
In the bleak midwinter
Long, long ago

Kavin enjoyed your set, the ideas are flowing and developed. Acoustic vamp contrast nice midway as well as all the sparkling energy at end. Going to check out the festival video which is at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjiWJF83CBimfFtaVbPXHU9C_wcbYnMih
This is my take of a obscure, yet controversial and famous Jackson Browne cover called "The Rebel Jesus." It was recorded in 2011 as part of the Nowhere Advent Project. For more info on that, go to my website- but the song turned out good I think…
You've got some good life in these songs. If your intent was subtle Christian you hit it meaning it comes off in a nice way without seeming pushed down the throat.
This is a new song that I wrote while I was up in Nebraska. The backstory is that I was a donor match for bone marrow donation. In essence: if someone has leukemia or several other diseases, they sometimes can be cured if a match can be found…

Lyrics by Adrienne Harvey. Music by Randy Nixon, Jr. and Gene Eric Mann. Vocals by Harvey. BG acoustic rhythm and acoustic bass guitar by Mann. Remaining guitars by Nixon.
Neat groove and some dark, I hear a kind of Jefferson Starship influence, perhaps it's in us all. Thanks very much for your several recent comments re my trax. There's no good way to thank someone other than post a comment for them and perhaps that's a good thing. Best with your muse Gene!
Intermittences is about memories coming and going, sometimes hurting. It is about ups and downs.
This part is about felling fulfilled, but it is a dream. At the end you wake up. The harmony is still in you, but a part is lost and you feel alone...
Waiting For The Lights To Come Back On
Yesterday after a storm rolled through, we lost power. Recorded two separate tracks with the Little Martin using the handheld, then laid them on top of each other.
Comments on jimgoodinmusic's stuff
Got it Jim. Nice closing piece.
Best one yet!
i like the tune quite a lot and am therefore thankful you were unable to achieve the tibbets sound. gregzbloom@gmail.com
Yay, Jim! That looping/layering really works, approaching Tibbettsism.
Glad you can balance picking and cycling bud!
Just a guy and a guitar! Lovely! Nice sounding guitar! Bethan M

Fantastic! field drums underneath perfect set.
Chris this is lovely. Commented on SI Fripp lines on top of an almagmation of contrasts or some such.

Really nice covers Gary. I've listened to this one several times now. Good beat and psychedelic tones.
Nice dark colors like Gary Neumann with a hip sophisticated groove.

Nice work and interesting intercuts of stuff over the beat. Good live feel. Thanks for the kind words as well to my track earlier.
Nice harmony and discant like voices on this one as well as great set of words.
Love the sound of your guitar on this plus the line 'stand around here waiting to die...' fabulous!
Kavin that's beautifully played and sung and spoken. Love the feel and the last line!
Kavin beautiful interpretation and choice! Going on your RPM?

Raw and interesting, Leonard Cohen like at times in delivery and a nice kind James McMurtry.
Dig this a lot - again very earthy, organic quality in what you do.
Nice cover with a sense of your own thing. Nice earth in this Justin.

picturesque and Satie 100 years in the future.
Like dissecting sound in the trees Roger, really interesting.
Pretty neat - loss of power and found Derrek Bailey on the way:)
