I heard this as I let the IF playlist roll doing other things - this is really great! I love the very classic slide sound you have here and the piece is very bluesy cool.
12-string requires a greater sense of space, because it is, in fact, work with the orchestra sound (instead of more "focused" 6-string = black&white). And you got it. Now is the time to draw a picture, in color :-)
P.S. My favorite 12-string master - Ralph Towner, ECM, I listen to him often.

A manipulated ambient-ish piece
Sound sources, 5 string bass, 18" and 14" china cymbal, cornet, mixed tuning, 6 edo, 12 edo, unconstrained pitch.
kudos for anyone who listens to the whole thing.
Nobody knows how, what it will be - the future. We look at it, trying to see, to detect something and ... it goes fade, it's always receding, receding ...

This is a song I made by recording several guitar tracks and editing on an all nighter session in November of 2010. The bulk of it was done in a 12 hour period with minor tweaks added in over the months. This was recorded using SONAR 8.5 and a…
Home made cannon in Just Intonation, cymbals struck by hand and bowed. (I don't own so many cymbals - I made a field recording while walking through the cymbal room at Sam Ash. A most exciting experience actually!) I did buy two cheap cymbals…

Reg has been trying to learn the art of slowing down, relaxing under the pressure of abstinence.......................it seems to be going well .............
I used about half of the tones produced in my stop sign video as samples looped in Kontakt and improvised on an 88 key controller in 17 equal notes per octave. Not something you'd listen to for enjoyment.
Comments on kavin.'s stuff
Ohhh! That was great! Well played!
Wow! National Resonator. How old is that guitar? It sounds sensational.
Conjures up images of cowboys. I approve! :)

This was a good pick-me-up for the afternoon. Very much enjoyed!
Got the mule loaded I'm on my way.......
Great playing mate very cool dig it.
You were made for 12 strings. I would like to hear a mandolin track layered over this. First Class!!
Wow.
Wonderful stuff man!
great 12 string sound and tune. Always amazes me that something as small as the R08 can record such great stereo sounds
Beautiful Kavin!
very nice,, i like the open "breezy/airy" sound/feel of this
Outstanding!
My friend, you have a knowledge of your instrument that I could never hope to have. Magnificent piece of music.
Faved instantly.

Very perceptive Kirk. Ant is a big favorite of mine right now. Now if I could just get up the gumption to take the 12 into open tunings..
no such thing as too many guitars.
some very moody blues there (not referring to the band)! Well played. Some old Beck/Clapton/Page sounds shining through.
brilliant sounds
At the risk of dating myself, this reminds me of the Small Faces..which is good. It has that 60's psych pop feel.
Mucho thanks Johnny Stone, ER et al. Maybe soon I'll have something new to post, if I can drag my butt off FB.
Reg been listening to Enya too? Nice one here.
