I wrote this song for my sister who got married last June. I performed it at her wedding reception. It's about going through dark times, depression, and the power of love that gets you through the pain.

It was really cold the winter I wrote the main guitar arpeggios for this. It was cold again the winter we arranged and recorded it. So far, this winter's been fairly mild.

I really like Sonny Sharrock's approach to the guitar. It's hard for me to play totally "free" like he could.
