A Knife and a Bottle

My contribution to this year’s RPM Kitchen Challenge.
Very silly.
Well, can’t you see the baby’s crawling
And pulling up all by herself
I can’t imagine what will be falling
When she climbs up on the shelf
See how much she likes to open doors
Those little fingers work so well
Wonder what she’ll find in the drawers
Soon she’ll be raising holy hell
With a knife in one hand
And a bottle of cleaner in another
Her life’s in her own hands
Thank god she has no baby brother
Try to direct her to her own toys
But they aren’t nearly quite so shiny
They don’t make a banging noise
And besides, they’re way too tiny
She seems to like the dish detergent
The way it shakes in her happy little hands
Take if fast, it might get urgent
Trade it out for the pots and pans
Her life’s in her own hands
Thank god she has no baby brother
With a knife in one hand
And a bottle of cleaner in another
Well, can’t you see the baby’s crawling
And pulling up all by herself
I can’t imagine what will be falling
When she climbs up on the shelf
Very nice!
I love this! The percussion is great! Put a big smile on my face! w;-)
The lyrics speak to me bro! Superb track!! Are you hitting the bottles with a knife?
Hahaha, super fun - super inventive! The percussion is absolutely delightful! Great challenge, great outcome!
