Hey man, saw you've been checking my latest 2 tracks out. much appreciated.
Btw, this is super cool...it travels. like a story being told...heading into the water...deep down.
I’d been experimenting with Euclidean rhythms for a while when the modular synth plugin Bazille was released by u-he.com. They seemed like the perfect match.

An ambient soundscape with fragments of percussion sprinkled throughout. Most of the percussion fragments are from the Live Packs '1konkret' and 'Operator 53' from Detunized.com.
Has the feel of drifting effortlessly through different spaces. I like the sparseness and the use of a range of sounds. Geosonics looks like a great source material.
A demo track for a new Reaktor instrument I'm building codename: Mimetron.
Loop Guitar 1 is a long, flowing, ambient piece. Mellow with a few moments of grit.
Mimetron is a 3 voice sampler that is driven by incoming audio. It has 3 channels…
A mix from two very different sources that just seem to work well together.
Nguyen Vinh Bao, Dan Kim et Hoang Cô Thuy, Dan Tranh
Vera Ward Hall,vocal
Sources are public domain and free use from Youtube and Alan Lomax archives.
Here is a John Lee Hooker Song that Buck and I used to sing in Duluth. We were playing in a group called *"THE LARRYS"*
I love Bucks harmony on this!
I moved away a couple years ago, and Buck stopped by for a visit last Friday. As you can…
A bit of improv done yesterday with my newly refurbished fretless guitar. Finally got the midi pickup to track almost right! Part of the sounds were gotten by rubbing a teaspoon on the strings.
Another one from back when I was tracking to actual tape. Was going to do a new version at some point, but decided I had lost interest. Sometimes there's no sense in recreating the past! Recorded probably the beginning of 2007
This is the first track made with my new Reaktor instrument 'Super Scanoid' which might just have well been named '1950s Sci-Fi Soundtrack Generator".
The sounds it makes with this sample (a bouncy pizzicato cello) reminded me of the score from…
This piece, like most of my music, is fairly quiet and pensive. It uses a lot of ostinatos (repeating patterns) as a way to unify the piece and create almost a mantra type of effect.
I experimented a little with how I built the chords in the…

The overall movement, how it seems to go from segment to segment, has an eerie, processional feeling to it. Great work.
I appreciate the work you put into this groove -- gonna play it again!
Nice atmospherics.
Your use of sound has generated an ambient atmosphere on my end, perfect for afternoon meditation. Sweet!

I like these mixtures you putting together. I believe you rock, and the ambiention is all to real now.
Hey Len. long time no see. I always loved your off-the-wall soundscapes. Keep going. Christian

Lovely! I really like how the bass line seems to never quite come to rest
Very well produced piece...fades, washes and hibernation awakening towards the end.
Quite interesting! Wish I knew something about producing music like this
very cool, I like the use of silence and tempo changes. It says a lot while remaining sparse. I like that.
Wonderful beats give this a fabulous foundation - love the flavours!
Like a journey around a coral reef. Niiice pecussion!

Yes, a wonderful take on this.
Exactly!
Yes, gorgeous voicings!
I listened to this again last night -- a lovely piece!
Never thought I'd find a way to use the words funky and ethereal in the same sentence (especially around Halloween), but this is it -- nice work!
Very nice work, I love the way the ambience flows. Also the Reaktor ensemble looks like a nice piece of programming.
The juxtaposition is truly fascinating!
One of my favorite John Lee Hooker songs!
Very nice -- and amazing work with ThumbJam!
Wonderful photos and soundtrack.
One of my favorite, neglected Monk tunes.
Very nice -- unhurried, wonderful harmonies.
Wonderful!
Very nice, laid-back feel.
Very nice!
I really like this -- especially the vocal-like sounds, were they synth or sampled? Did you do it all with your MIDI guitar controller?
very nice blues -- maybe the mood will resurface ;)
nice ;)
I really enjoyed this piece.
Very nice laid-back feel!
