Not sure what inspired me to write this. It's about a rich lady who loses everything. It's not about anyone I know, I was just trying to write a song not about myself for once.
The song reminds me of early rock, with distorted guitars that still maintain the smooth flow of the music (not even overbearing the keys here). And great vocals!
I'm loving the brit in this mate. Good job. The whole track has a nice feel to it. I can totally see you sitting there with a g-tar strumming away and writing this. Sweet bro!
Rather, it includes Norm's excellent track Pilón For A New Son (http://alonetone.com/norm/tracks/piln-for-a-new-son). Was trying to find out how less I can get away with in rhythms while still having enough flow. Feedback welcomed :)
MAN THAT I AM - Key Dm

Train pulls out the station and the shades are all drawn
Cold steel bites my ankles and I am on my way home

I would jump out of that window. Risk a bullet in my back

But I'm shackled to a bunk…

Like it - including the slower breaks. It's cool.
We all have them now and again!

I got a chuckle out of the title. Great attention getter!
