Achingly beautiful... love the laid back acoustic feel, gentle acoustic riffing and gentle violin. My favorite track on the album. Very well deserved to be the showcase track in the middle of the album.
What’s The Yams? The Yams, you say?
What’s The Yams? Am I supposed to know?
What’s The Yams? Is this thing for me?
The Yam is the power that be
What’s The Yams? I’ve heard of it before
What’s The Yams? I don’t know
What’s The Yams? Are…

A song about exactly how ugly local politics can be.
It’s time to play the blame game
Another chance for calling people names
Ignore the facts, they just get in the way
You see your chance to say what…

the bed and goldfish are all the remains
the bed has got fleas and goldfish is floating
facedown in the water, the bowl on the floor
i'm just gonna stare for one moment longer
sit down in the dust where the couch used to be
reading a note…
hang up
i hear the ghostly sound
faintly
they come
down through the phone lines
bravely
to give you peace of mind
to pacify the masses
i read it all online
the dread the fear the sorrow
we're running out of time
today tonight tomorrow…
With all of the "noise" in daily life I felt it might be nice to put some quiet, almost ambient and thoughtful, dreamy, melodies on top of the sounds of the mall food court.

Dude, this sounds fantastic!
Your voice sounds fantastic on this track Matt.
Awesome Production.
Unapologetic... great closing track.
Achingly beautiful... love the laid back acoustic feel, gentle acoustic riffing and gentle violin. My favorite track on the album. Very well deserved to be the showcase track in the middle of the album.
An unsettling, disjointed track... the disoriented feeling matches the subject matter.
A little social commentary about current times? Nice, laid back groovy track that turns into a dancy, synthy outro.
Happy trees, happy clouds... titanium white! Haha... love it! Right up there with "Tony Danza."
Comic books, superheroes, RPG card games, compulsive collecting... a celebration of geekdom! Something a lot of us can relate to.
Really catchy simple first half with handclaps and banjo and then when the rest of the instruments come in... BAM! Really cool.
Matt spittin' rhymes over a catchy beat and lush synths. Love the tongue-in-cheek humor.
Quirky, short acoustic-tinged track. Nice break inbetween tracks on the album.
Bouncy bassline, reggae keys... I hear some Elvis Costello influence in this one. Very catchy.
Epic and utterly beautiful. Awesome opening track.
Love it, Matt. Great stuff.
I ordered the fish and I got the stupid. Great album, Matt!
This is soooooo good.
"I still will buy him!" And the geek shall rule the Earth.
I was happy at the start, happier with the banjo, and sent to another level when the band kicked in.
Lin Manuel Miranda has nothing on you. Damn.
