This time Faith No More won over me with the title... for a few months, although I've been toying with this song since 2011 (nobody is going to believe me, but anyway...) Speaking of FNM, a part in this song reminds me of "We care a lot"... You…

I mean, this was recorded in the dungeon of a hostel in Bristol (UK), one Thursday at 5AM. I don't think it gets more secret than that...

Little to add to the song itself. Plausible influences are Ella Fizgerald's 'Stone Cold Dead in the Market' (which I like), and Paul Mc Cartney's 'Hope of Deliverance' (which I don't)...

I hear the Paul influence, but not so much the song you mentioned as "Black Bird Fly," which I like! ;)

All I remember is I wanted to play with my harmonica (a bit like when El Hefe wants to play trumpet in NOFX, I guess). The melody is in part similar to/got suggested to me by/ Fats Waller's 'Ain't Misbehavin'. The vocal explosion resource at…

This song is about a guy who every morning wakes up and writes a song. Then the zombie apocalypse bursts, and he, by the force of habit, still wakes up and writes a song every morning. The song is about all those funny changes in his situation…

This is just me jamming along an excellent, groovy SKA base provided by other Wikiloops user. The music made me envision something like the credits from a colorful 80's program, maybe a musical program or a comedy with still images of the chapter…

This is a song about those thoughts that you wish you wouldn't have, and which take you away... In medicine I think it's called limbic hijacking, and it's documented that the fits last more or less the same as a movie teaser :) I tried to give…

Yes, indeed, the Bowie element is not only in there, it's smeared all over the place! Great job at capturing his style, his delivery. Rock on!

The idea for the lyrics came from a teaching from a Buddhist monk in Internet, saying pretty much what goes in the title: the only contest worth being in is a happiness contest. To that, I tried to add some cheering lyrics with the usual themes…

A bit of playing with scales, mostly. I am also quite proud of the title -fits the music, at least in my mind-. This is a Wikiloops collaboration: http://www.wikiloops.com/backingtrack.php

I dig the improve nature, the working of that scale, the instruments used -- especially that busy bass. Delightful fun!

A song with a long story (born in 1995, go figure!). Perceivable influences: Doors, Notting Hillbillies, Animals... Such long making combines, I think, my serious melancholy of those old days + a few thousands of hours of practice and 'stay cool…
