something made in thumbjam -0- I had deleted all the saved songs from my thumbjam memory and reinstalled thumbjam 000 it was occupying about 15 gigs of space for the music I had already downloaded 000 this is a fresh start ,.. I may have to reinstall…
I like the development in this. Nice work - you always pull out the unexpected from the synths you work with regardless of the format. I would not have guessed this to be Animoog!
soaring and raw. something heavy gliding through the air, a pulsing, undulating and morphing strange beast...then it seems to touch down, hopping over the hills.
All matter is alive... in away.,,. Things, everything, everywhere is alive everywhere,... even photons make decisions, how do they do that? the molecules in my body but the molecules everywhere it is all alive,.. life is everywhere life is a living…
very much in the structure of cells dividing, multiplying...vibrant resonance, also spreading...shifting while also staying the same...like a map of wild territory, you never quite know where you are except in the experience
taking one song and using the audio frequency to modulate the frequencies of another song. then I play both songs mixed or mashed together then I go back and play the frequency modulations and the songs all together .,, totally mixed like that,..

Now and perpendicular to now, where shadows are, as we will create the next song of music and make sounds together in the now but also in the perpendicular to now for the theme at sound in. of course any music on theme or not is ok. At right angles…
just more in the mix here with the last three to four minutes IMO taking away from the music, I can delete that if you think so? we are just continuing down the tape I made in 2006 one of many, hundreds actually and I can not keep them straight,,
Thanks AMUC,.. I created this in performance playing all the sounds on the supernova II and microkorg xl ,, the microkorg was played via midi notes from the supernova II,.. because they are from two different companies there midi definitions do not mesh easily the values get sent .. and "something" on the korg changes IDK what ,, but i can hear what I am changed in the sounds it makes.. this is so fun to experiment with .. I am glad I started trying this out since about 2015,.. ooo
remapped the original therapeutic healing logic project into different instruments and like that,.. enjoy. 9 tracks total with separation in stereo going on.
the end of this is best --- It just works in there--- the this type of buzz saw like noises OGM I love these things.. --- I get these when I tweak the supernova II and use the max feedback for digital delay and level maxed out with the time at like zero to 1 to two .. the smallest intervals for that .. it is greatness. these sounds.
Recorded live to 4-track cassette, then live mixed to digital. Condenser mic -> V-Amp 2 (output 1) -> Lexicon LXP-5 -> Yamaha MT4X
" ( " 2) -> EHX Stereo Memory Man -> Zoom RFX-300 Yamaha MT4X
Tin whistles…
Two tracks recorded with my bohlen-pierce travel guitar in cubasis on an ipad using Zoom UAC-2 interface and ammooon wireless set. Reverb is cubasis default.
I looked up the amiga --- I had used them in 1987-1988 at the rutgers computer art lab and video area.. I did not use them too much they would take time to do animations and stuff--- 000 very cool this uses an AMIGA1200 --- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga_1200. great groove going on too-
Same source as "Puffing Billy... " but stretched even more. The title is one of those that come from what I hear, in this case near the end of the piece.
Submitted to Sound-In for 5-12/11/2020.
this sounds just fun... -- I like this... there maybe be ways to intermix the changes at the 12 bar interface with a kind of blending maybe? course that would be a different song,..
great work pure data is kinda difficult for me to make massive constructions due to the complexity of the details that have to be correct when working with it but pure data is a great program -- :)
Monophonic recording of a bowed balanced contact mic (two piezo elements glued onto a small piece of wood and connected to the hot and cold of an XLR mic cable) clamped onto the front of a small acoustic guitar body (no neck or strings).
this seems to be adding - to the other over powering sound I am hearing of the leaf blower outside at the neighbors place --- this song was winning out over the leaf blower though :)
Pink noise setting on Mini-Moog that seems to be malfunctioning slightly (sweeping sounds shouldn't happen). Effected by running it through noise reduction, the profile of which was taken from sounds of a tenor saxophone. Right channel is a reverse…
neat it is often a problem of mine that strange sounds are produced at time that I have no idea where they are coming from or what parameter is causing their creations but --- I too record that nonetheless :)
Comments on Newbold's stuff
love the metallic sounds you get at times out of this!
this is cool! I like the mix of classical and electronic here!
What are you doing to this place man?
This is great!
Another great piece!

is Microcosm a musical instrument? I looked it up and did not see any instruments with that name? this is the second listen -- still great. --
great 000 it has a kind of textured effects to it.
good sounds. -- faux imitation and almost imaginary type comment here.-- but still it is great music-- like it is.
