Well, this one was written many years ago. I dug it up from the archives and re-recorded it. The arrangement and lyrics stayed the same. I just thought it could use some touching up.
This song was originally written about a break up, but after visiting Death Valley, I wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of the desert. I combined both themes and used a basic riff I wrote years ago.

I listened to Chris's Orwellioan Cameras while watching the video. It got me thinking about the eye watching us and this is what i came up with.............
Sam was a very articulate and kind friend; he spend way too much of his life in a wheel chair and yet demonstrated a lot of grace.
We lost him just over a year ago.
Among many other unexpected, Christ-like kindnesses, he realized at one point…
