'Hond' is Dutch for 'Dog'. the song was inspired by my dog, which explains the title. it contains a vocal piece of proze (in Dutch) which i wrote about my dog (in the context of a larger story).

'oprotmuziek' in Dutch, would probably translate as 'fuck-off music' in English. in other words, the kind of music you play when you'd like for people to go home, hence the title (and the music).
