I'm working on making this old song from Two Old Friends into a better version. Today I got inspired to pick up my daughter's 3/4 size Martin (which makes the runs easier) and recorded this on my Zoom H2.

The starting point for Neptune was Lena's impressionistic piano improvisation in G# Minor, "the bluest of musical modes", as Lena sees it. With its gradually opening ambient layers, the song is a probe's dive into the blue, dreamlike gas layers…

Some think Satan is a unique sentient being and that hell is a physical place where, after death, bad people suffer eternal physical torment. Others, myself included, think Satan is a metaphor for man's own worst aspects -- his Ego if you will…

I have redone the guitar parts and mixed it again, still not the final version but a little progress that I'm pleased with :)

This space ambient track was inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky's 1972 science fiction movie Solaris. The musical theme (and the title of the track) comes from J.S. Bach's organ piece "Ich ruf’ zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ" (BWV 639) which was heard also…
