Awesome, can't say I've heard anything quite like it. It really sounds like something unfolding or slowly expanding itself.

Listening again to this piece. Boat-tastic.

Halfway through it did feel like it was the intro to something (cue dry ice, big light show, power chord, let's rock... mebbe!)(I think it's the hi-hat that does this to me, it reminds me of a drummer itching to get going) But, for me, it does actually bring itself to a nice conclusion. Didn't really feel like "petering out" at this end.

Oh yeah, gorgeous cello sound.

Don't think I'll ever understand this way of making music - but it do make some nice sounds. Cool track.

this sounds awesome: When the input signal from the filter exceeds the gate-on threshold the sampler plays the loop for that channel. When the incoming signal falls below the gate-off level the loop gets released and decays away. 2 minutes into the track and loving it.

Listening again and I actually really love the lo-fi almost accidental feel to this recording. Work of art. My one regret is that I can't double-favourite it.

I have no idea why I thought "Edward Lear" and "Ring Modulator" in the same moment. Probably I shouldn't have.

Thanks for the kind words both. Chris it is a pretty good idea but I can't take any credit for that, I got it from Pendle @ SoundDust. He uses it to build his Plastic Ghost Piano and I thought it sounded like something cool to play with.

Has the feel of drifting effortlessly through different spaces. I like the sparseness and the use of a range of sounds. Geosonics looks like a great source material.
