There's a good reason most of Dirty Dan and the Family Band's music features the guitar. It's because his keyboard and trumpet players don't know what they're doing.

I tried to write a country/bluegrass song over the simple G/C/D progression, but my aversion to country music shows through here since it ended up sounding more tropical than anything else.

Dirty Dan and the Family Band first started fooling around on the guitar in 1993. They’ve expanded over the years and added a few instruments to their lineup, but they admit that the quality of their music has probably gone downhill quickly after these new additions.
Due to a ongoing managerial dispute, their group size has decreased to just one member. Wait, actually, it’s always been just one member, sorry for the confusion. Regardless, Dirty Dan and the Family Band thank you for visiting their (his) page and hope you enjoy the jams!
