Oh my. Love this! Moody and submersive. Like slow dancing when it's more about the holding. Wonderful.
(Kicked someone else off my PC to say that...and faved big time!)
INTERESTING TITLE. Beautiful keyboards in there...and the voice...can't hear what's being said, but sounds nice...makes it kind of eerie because it's hard to hear em.

When I wrote this it was a cold cloudy and dark winter night here in vancouver but I was sitting in my room and was just in a sunny state of mind. I then picked up my Uke and started fiddlin around searching for a breezy chord progression, then…
Track four from the mumble mumble EP.
I'd much prefer this to have an opposing female vocal line to my own, as my own voice harmonizing with itself sounds a little, well, strange, especially given the lyric subject matter. But, oh well, we all…
Thanks Jason. It means a lot coming from an innovative musician/songwriter such as you. Yeah I am thinking of laying some vocals. Got to carve in some room between the loud guitar parts. I am new to recording vocals and my singing sucks ass. ;) The guitar part is just one clean and one overdriven tone panned left and right. Everything else is from a Korg M50 and a microkorg.
My talented cousin, Robert Nichols, wrote this melody and played it for me. It spoke to me, so I asked if I could put lyrics to it. He was kind to say "yes". His piano; my vocal. This is the outcome. Seems like it should be in a movie to me…

@ Sister Savage: Thanks!!!
@ Illegal Alien Autopsy: Thanks brother. Funny you mention Pink Floyd. A huge influence and one of the reasons I started to play keyboards.
Very classy.
Thank you all very much for the kind words.
Wow, I'm loving your style! This track has a lovely steady warmth to it. Beautiful!

Nice. You should consider a collaboration with Cap'n Gene. His guitar work would compliment your arrangements very well.
sonically speaking, this is well-balanced. Nice work SonicLuke. Reminds me of being at a Pink Floyd laser light spectacular.
Beautiful track!
