Here's my Bowie tribute....finally..Like a dog with a bone i carried on with this trying to play and sing hopefully i haven't chewed it up too much.....All recorded on the one track live in the cellar....so no going back....

One of the other band members found these reel-to-reel recordings of when our band (Sound Sensations Exhibit featuring vocals by Duke "Bubba Blues" Sakon), first was going big in 1967. Old style reel-to-reels sat in his basement for over 40 years…
Here's the second song I recently decided to do with a studio recording from one I wrote and posted here a while ago as a purely vocal version. It's one of my favorites.... I hope you'll enjoy it too

A cold shiver of loneliness runs through his body, he stands in the light of the dawn on the edge of the wood feeling shaken. Now everything he loved has gone. He put his hand into his pocket takes out his pipe, lights it and considers the Condor moment .........
I decided to keep working on this one a bit on the "keep messing with it" program.... added some backing vocals and some piano.... kind of like where its heading after the one take wonder before... Any other suggestions are very welcome…
Miles Away is a very simple guitar riff and lyrics that match, but it's a song that came from the heart of one of the band's members. It's kind of a tune about a newly married couple...like most Prood songs it was recorded after one or two rehearsals…
Cornwall, a place where I have never been, and probably will never be - what is it? Sun, sea, lapping waves, moonlit path at night? Public, Idly strolling down the wide sidewalk, quietly... Ringing/sparkling kids, playing?
