to do things i only read about
i am on the floor picking up pennies

i am watching geese fly towards the water
hoping i am not alone
the stars are so much brighter as if i was much closer to them
and i am feeling a little bit lighter
flying higher
i am going back down to memphis
going to do it right this time
going to swim in the muddy water
and i know i will be just fine
i never thought i would be a winner
never planned to do this stuff
sometimes my heart is just not enough
i remember when i was special
and you were just a kid
i and i knew someday you would find me
and all those things i hid
see the sun in the distance
rising up through the trees at 6 am
my first cup of coffee is cold from yesterday
cigarette glows like a gem

thanks yes, this were recorded for the rpm challenge. i only drew on my note books for two songs and just for inspiration. i had already meet the 35 minutes of music requerment for the project but felt the subject of my friends death last february (shadow of the son) needed to be adressed. what a great experience (rpm) tim
