Another Roland SE-02 through EHX Stereo Memory Man. Some similarities to "Polly...", but mostly different. Submitted to Sound-In "Changes" for 16-23/6/2022.
Roland SE-02 with sequencer running, LFO modulated, and slow delay, then run through EHX Stereo Memory Man also w/ slow delay. Submitted to Sound-In "Polyrhythms, etc" for 9-16/6/2022.
OH so intense yes yes yes- OMG wow-- this end is intense --- ever think about doing trance or psytrance type music just to you know get your feet wet with that kind of music --- (this is really close!! just need some kind of out there beat)
Field recording modified by using the entire recording as a template for noise reduction. The remaining sound was surprisingly melodic, and includes birdsong (mourning dove and sparrows most prominent), passing light aircraft, emergency siren…

Voice modified by EHX Stereo Memory Man, with a setting that I really haven't played with much for the simple reason that I don't understand it much. That hasn't really changed, but it was kinda fun to play with. Submitted to Sound-In "Changing…
Thought I'd give this piece the same title as the Sound-In event (3-10/3/2022) to which it was submitted, since, entirely by accident, it came out sounding like that phrase being repeated continuously if you use your imagination enough.
Two EHX devices; Voice Box, and Stereo Memory Man. Original sound is voice only, with a loop created on the SMM and extra vocalisations on top. Submitted to Sound-In "Peace" for 24/2-3/3/2022.
Test recording of voice modified by a EHX Voice Box on vocoder setting; the modulating signal is the sound from a one-string instrument made from an old crutch. Post production involved adding two copies of the original mono track, panned slightly…
Title inspired by the symmetrical nature of the piece. The original recording was the sound of striking various parts of a gourd bowl (a round bowl-like thing made by cutting the bottom from a dried gourd of some sort - I don't know, it was given…

yes this is "gas music from jupiter" - I was thinking that gas music could be a theme or music from jupiter or gas music from jupiter --- would work as a theme at some point -- :)
A bit of audio plasticity here, in that I've taken the sounds from Not Just Dreaming and run them through various effects processes to give this little ditty. Also submitted to Sound-In “Dreaming About Plastic Noises” for 13-20/01/2022.
Percussing a bunch of plastic objects, destined for the recycling bin but making one more contribution before they go. Played with a pair of disposable wooden chopsticks, until the dropping of one brought the piece to a somewhat premature end…

Not at all what it seems. Sounds were created by putting a small dynamic mic onto a little battery-powered amp to create feedback. This was then modulated by playing extremely high notes on a clarinet (using lower teeth to adjust reed pressure…
Haha! Decided to check Google translate to see if Fakawi existed in any language, as I'd just made it up for the title. Turns out it's a Maori word for state; not sure what meaning of that but like that it could mean the state of the weather.

neat envelopes and morphing Jim!

Hypnotic and casting spells. Thanks too for your recent words re my ukulele piece Jim.
kinda neat--- really strange-- but I like things like that-
good it is interesting --
really cool yeah this is wild-
Jim it's great where things that you will utilize become such potential instruments. The higher linear voice is cool and exotic here. Good piece!
Thanks, Bill. The main reason for giving details of production is so that I can remember what I did later on!
Excellent --- I am really glad you explained how you did this --- just great -- thanks for doing this-

Not deleted, Bill, still have the original file. Might post it in a minute.
Thanks for doing that, Jim. Really liking the way it turned out.
Very nice, but all too brief. Reminds me of the short pieces on Eno's Another Green World album.

A sumptuous sonic stew. Thanks!!
