We went to visit my dad at his assisted living facility and they have a Yamaha Clavinova on which I improvised for a half hour to provide some entertainment. This is a ~ 3 minute excerpt from about half way through. This was recorded on my Zoom…
I was asked to come up with some gritty microtonal guitar. This is an out-take from that session.

This video is really raw and weird!! I like it!
Is the audio post a stretch of the video post?
This rough track uses my Blue Just Tuning system (go to www.johnsmusic7.com for details and a photo of the guitar). This is the same tuning Chris Vaisvil used in his Excluded By Peers piece. I hope to add some lead to the track soon.

Please - this is not the concept I asked her contribution for. I didn't feel right putting her voice up without a credit. But.... this doesn't do justice - I got things I need to do but I will have a better setting.

Very nice!
i think this went well, but then, i am a bit partial! :)
BIG sound.
this one grabs my attention. It could easily be on the bitter dregs album. Like the emotion in the guitar.
Excellent!
it makes me smile
Lovely!
Vertiginous!!!!!
Inventive and stirring!
I don't know the original - find it hard to believe you ruined it though! Very much like your boyish (
Pretty sweet blend of riffage.
I love the title! The voices at the beginning are very realistic, as in, I thought someone was right next to me in the room... Weird!
Likes this,heavy,spacey,nice one!

delicious!
nicely done! Love the vocal harmonies!
Thanks for listening. It is a 12 tet steel string acoustic guitar harmonically filtered with D 36.8 Hz as the root. So I'd say its harmonic series.
oh vocal harmonies to die for....
excellent!!

I take it this is with Paul's Extreme Stretch - I'm a big fan of what can be achieved with that software with the right input. I am enjoying this !
