Deadbeat
Wildgeas Music
This is my 3rd home recording. I dug it out again and cleared the moth balls.
“Tart it up a bit” as Sis would say.
I found out that if you rub a strat the wrong way, it will talk back to you. I tried many times to re-create this guitar work and failed every time. I can not duplicate the emotion that was present at the moment. So I leave it be.
I wrote it for all the fathers out there who don’t know it takes a man to be a daddy!
it’s been so many years
since you called me on the telephone
you promised me the sky
and only rain tears from my eyes
tell me father please
why make all your little ones cry
father father please
don’t call me on the telephone
father father please
there will be no one home
This song reminds me very much of Deep Purple's Son of Alerick! Muy Fuckin' Bien!!!
Great guitar. I dig your vocal style very much too. Your guitar playing reminds me of Richie Blackmore's; he's one of my all time favorites.
Love the guitar tone in this.
Just great. Love the gently resigned bluesy feel and that crystal clear guitar.
It's singing to you, Paul!
