Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…

Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime

From the archives. Traditional Irish slow air. Myself on the Uilleann pipes with synth backing. This was recorded at a concert here in Weston back in I think '92. Originally recorded on an ancient 4 track machine and then transferred to cassette…

Several years ago I had a short lived duo with an oboe and English horn player named Nat. This is a demo from that period. It's an old old chord progression of mine that never really had a melody and Nat improvised this melody in the studio to…

amazing technique. Nice breakdown at 1:39. Lots of sounds I'm not used to hearing. Build up at 2:42 or so..then sudden drop off has a good effect. Just fantasically done. I'd have to guess you were in a good mood when you did this one. :) 5:15 sounds like the hornpipes? Sounds great with the guitar. The outro is great too.

I downloaded and listened to this in the car this morning, brilliant Album. I have not enjoyed that English flavor guitar work since Purple/Rainbow. More More More.

WyrDGeneS is the solo project of one man lunatic asylum, George Edgelander. Featuring traditional melodies from the ancient kingdom of Northumbria, soaring electric guitar and a schizophrenic sound-scape. Meandering via twee, melancholic noodlings, through fields of full-on rock, climbing mountains of mind bending psycho-metal, and taking in various sites of outstanding sonic irrelevance along the way.
