When loss comes...
(sorry that the vocals are a bit pitchy, but unfortunately I don't have access to the original tracks to redo them. But i wanted to at least get this tune documented. Definitely a redo project for later)
This is a remake of Samba do Bonde, now with portuguese lyrics. A loose translation below:

to sit, converse, to feel
the warmth of friendship
always too brief
just a give and take between immortals

wrote this song while i was all alone in the middle of a nameless creek in the amazon jungle - beautiful spot!
This is from 2006 - the only song in this album that is more recent. Here I tried to use bossa chords and a modified bossa beat to…
this was an attempt at making a tune where the vocal melody was nonredundant with the chords (or never found in any of the notes of any of the chords).
Almost succeeded - but it was fun trying.

A song that came to me when I was fishing in the rain with some of my Mamainde buddies. The Mamainde is a small endangered Amazonian tribe of 230 people in west-central Brazil. This song attempts to tell their story…

This is another version of the same tune used in Dana's Song. I just changed the lyrics. It was created back in 1999 with the help of Alontoner K.Scot.
This is my own way of looking at a beautiful text - Psalm 139.

New collaboration playing a hint of things to come (at least for those experiencing winter right now).

I wrote the middle of this song in Bali, Indonesia when traveling with my wife (fiance at the time) and her family. The other parts are inspired from traditional Hawaiian music. Maganda Isla means beautiful island in Tagalog, one of the main…
Hey Joe,
Thanks for the note. And great to see you on Alonetone! Thats a powerful Hawaiian vibe there! Wish I could whistle like that. You need to put up more of your stuff.
Trust you and Rebecca are well.
Blessings to you both.
I wrote the music to this song while playing around on the piano, thought it sounded nice. But for a long time i left it like that cus I couldn't think of how to develop it.
Then one day i was playing it, and i stopped and saw my dad's old guitar…
Kinda rough. I'm uploading this mainly to share a guitar technique I've been working on. I'm wearing a slide on my picking hand and using it to alter pitches in single line phrases. There's a lot more can be done with this technique that I've…
Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode
nothing quite as soothing as the sound of open strings! Some nice arpeggios without being rushed. You got a warm sound on the Zoom mics. Enjoyed the listen.
This is my newest song made using Reason 4. Compositionally it might get slightly repetitive but I am hoping that there is enough variation that it will keep the listeners attention through the whole piece. Enjoy and let me know what you like…
My first composition that uses an odd time signature for a few measures. My drum fills are also more elaborate. It's just a little tune to bob your head to, tap your toe, you know, the good stuff!

I like the sustained feel on this one - and the melodic integrity - just perfect blues!
This is some powerful stuff, Igor. Moving, and played with lots of passion. The passion is what communicates the most.

A cheery little tune - the constant bass note resonating throughout creates a unique mix. Lynda must be a very special person...
Wow - this is a change of pace! A great ethnic groove meets techno. Way to go Kev!
