superb guitar work as usual. the lyrics were hard to hear but i caught the sentiment ,the reflection and the memories of your brother. The song was short , a mixture of beauty with a sad undertone my memories of my brother aren't quite the same, we weren't close . he was older like yours but didn't treat me like a little brother. we were 4 years apart and didn't treat me very well but it is what it is .
Very impressive guitar work, unfortunately the tiny speakers I am listening to this on are throttling the vocal so I will have another listen later.Top marks for the guit
alone tho'

I stopped back for another listen this morning! "The Minstrel Show" goes good with a cup of Coffee.
I noticed the '39 Ford. My Dad used to have one. I remember sitting on the bumper with my shotgun as he drove it down the dirt roads in the evening. We always got a couple grouse for dinner that way. I was probably around 10 years old.
My last rpm song - based on the police log in a local paper. The writer must have been feeling poetic - more than half of these are word for word and the rest were slightly changed to fit the rhyming scheme.
My incomparable musicians:
Dobro…
Ditty #9 for the RPMC album "Bones".
I'd had this rolling around in my head for about a year now, and even played it live with the SD&Q trio. Didn't quite turn out as planned, which is not unusual.

Lyrics:
Mini Van
I’m driving my Mini Van around
I’m driving it everywhere in town
I’m driving my Mini Van
Try to catch me if you can
I’m driving my Mini Van around
Seems Like I can always catch the eye…
3 guitar tracks followed by a track with the trap set. A lot of alt tuning lately posted on AT which I like. This guitar was tuned to an open G. After I did it, I thought the sound was more like a backwoods, hillbilly song.
Unfortunately…
One more instrumental before I move on to the vocals...
I came up with this riff one hazy night when I was 19. I'm in my 30s now, and rather more sober, but I still like playing this. It felt good to finally flesh it out.

Applying the board of education to the seat of learning. Also a lost practise.
Recording an acoustic piano is quite challenging.

Little ones grow up so fast, don't they?
Nice fiddle break.

The old record effect works really well on this.
Aptly titled. The last song of the night should be a lullaby.
What gifted hands. You are so talented.
Love the wah-wah breakout.
I was twelve before I learned F'n Yankees was two words.
