The Corner Of My Page
I’m meeting an old Uni friend Saturday and I wrote this for her. My university years were quite possibly the darkest years of my life. Her, and the little comments she’d write in the margins of my lecture notes, were more important than she’ll ever know. Or care to know!
Write me a note in the corner of my page
So that 20 years later I can find it and read it again
And remember with a tear in my eye
And a smile on my face
How you wrote a note on my page
Meet me in Icons, meet me in Diva’s or Time
Meet me in Bristol we’ll sit and philosophise
I remember your kindness
I remember your rage
And how you wrote a note on my page.
Write me a note on this beer mat dear friend
So that I’ve something to smile at now and then
Make it witty, make it clever
Oh just like the days
When you wrote a note on my page.

Amazing lyrics - and completely digging your lower register..!!
Oh, this is lovely Alex. I hope you had a good reunion Saturday.
Sounds like what I experienced in my high schools years. Never so glad to graduate and get away from that bunch of idiots. Very good song, sir. ER
It's one of those sad-happy songs. Dig the deep vocal and nice piano man. Good piece and i thrid Geas and Regs, hope all goes well this weekend.
I dig the piano playin' man. Best of luck on Saturday. Oh Golly, I've left a note on your page.
