Andy, I really enjoyed this song... I like the progression alot and that does indeed comfort me. The voice is nice as well and fits perfect.... I really like the way you make the guitar chug along in a nice rhythm... makes me think of a lovely train ride on a fall afternoon through the country.... very laid back but still full of life and energy!

Yep, I was kind of going for 70s (early-mid 70s Slade was in my mind - bass and vocals, the rest fits where it can). I actually feared I had the drums TOO upfront for that!! lol I tried and failed with a lot of percussion too - I felt it needed it. There's some tambourine, and some voices doing shaker noises - but none of it was good enough to come too high in the mix. What I really wanted was some clapping, but that didn't work at all!
