The old tin geetar...
Did this one sometime in 2009 on a Boss MBR. I'd recently joined what became Songcrafters.org and PJ (Wiley) posted a bass/drum track for us ubiquitous blues guitarists to solo over.
I decided to go a different route…

I've been sat on these lyrics in some form or another for absolutely years. I first wrote them one very dark night a few years after…
This one's a bit of a ponderous beastie.
It can be whatever you want it to be. For me, it's got a lot to do with Sunday 18th June 1815.

At last... I've managed to finish something.
This was written months ago. I was about to try recording it with one or two others when this year's decorating started. With various buggered fingers, back muscles, etc, etc, I wasn't actually able…
I was flapping around working on something else with just vocal and guitar the other day. It wasn't going well, so I just started slapping the guitar and singing one of my favourite songs.
What I didn't realise was that I was recording it…

This song has been sat on the marvellous mechanical mouse organ in the broom-cupboard for well over a year.
A few weeks ago I got a bit of a scare - the mouse organ nearly broke down (in the middle of sorting out Delta Dawn). While I was fixing…
Well, I'm almost on a roll now - this little love song was written, arranged, and recorded in just a week. I've been meaning to attempt something like this for years, just never got round to it.
I'd actually settled down to finally record a…

Song 10# for my 2025 RPM Challenge. Wrote this today with my synthesizer, drum gadgets and keys. A bit dark, maybe for a movie about an assassination. This concludes my RPM for this year :) Thanks to anyone who has listened.
Into the light…
Track 1 of my Mulligan EP, recorded for the 2025 RPM Challenge. Inspired by my time working in betting shops, of all things. I used my Variax Standard for most of the guitar sounds, trying to get something like a Biffy Clyro type of sound.
Song 9# for my 2025 RPM Challenge. The finishing line is near. I wrote this song last night - it emerged out of the burning heart ache I've experienced since the death of my beloved 13 year old dog Maxwell (died last May) - my love for him is…

I love it as it is.
Supersaucy.
Totally fantastic. So "you". Really dig the low slung vox in the verses especially.
You ponderous beastie, you. Kinda retro in feel but tight like a drum.
