An experiment with quarter tone tuning.
I tuned my guitar: low E (normal tuning)
A (quarter step up)
D (normal tuning)
G (quarter step down)
B (normal tuning)
high E (tuned D then quarter step down)
this was an accidental song. I was making another song for which the main two loops of this song were simply the ending. The first of these loops is so visually stunning, I just knew It was its own bar.
This is a great debut for you at improvFriday, good to see you there. As you know I've been trying to cross-pollinate between alonetone and IF, and it seems to be working!

a collaboration of Alister Flint - Carlo Serafini - Chris Vaisvil

This piece uses multiple tunings simultaneously and is the inaugural…
This is a microtonal Jazz-ish piece produced with some newly developed techniques.

The piano, bass…

Really like this Kavin - I can hear it. Haunting and sterile!
Hypnotic!
this is really cool and I don't recall it Kavin. First thought you were working with your Koto.
Whoa!
Good piece! Groove that develops is sweet and making me think of Weather Report a little.
It is almost like just descending out of the Strat-osphere into the void... just a great work here-
has a sitar like feel that sounds like going through a wahwah or some such. Like the edge of it K...
Excellent..
nice
That's great Kavin! Thanks for putting us together. Texture on what James is doing is haunting through, whole piece is a ritual!
A type of sad strings sound... Quite moodish with
cool jam!
I like this very much so ,.// great groove here --
On theme and on message! Really like this! To quote Rodney King - "I just want to say – you know – can we all get along? Can we, can we get along?"
