I suppose it could be worse I know I'm lucky I'm all right But I can tell that you've been cursed And it keeps me up at night So few are born to come in first So many born into a fight If the roles had been reversed Would they still believe…

If I told you how well I know you Would you tell me it's not true Have you got yourself believing No one could know you like I do I know it's been a long time coming So many others you thought would treat you right But I'm gonna show you…

Fantastic song. I came here from the RPM Challenge 2022. I really love your musical sensibility. Well done. I am looking forward to checking out the other tracks in the album.

Good work. I have to admit I'm not much on instrumentals, but this one drew me in.

The most accessible song in the set, but no less impressive. Gorgeous soundscapes, irresistible hooks and melodies.

I wrote and recorded this song for RPM 2022. In the push to take us back to normal, we're being told to accept living with covid as an inevitability.

Mikey, this whole RPM is excellent listening!!! Well done all around, and thank you for giving beautiful voice to the kinda anxieties and thoughts we have surrounding this pandemic and the way it’s been and is being handled. Put that with your wonderful production, and it’s art. You are artful! Congrats on the record and RPM completed! —Derrick, aka bukupanda

I got tired of playing by the rules. (The album concept was using only portable instruments which I could carry in one trip.) This track uses every functional piece of gear I own at least once. In no particular order . . . TR-606, TB-303…

When I was five, my mother gave me a little stuffed animal, a hippo, and though I tried I could not think of a name for him, so I called him Nothing. Nothing the hippopotamus. I was in the yard playing with Nothing when I made up the Nothing song, and I sang it all day. This February is the first time I have recorded it. my mother would love that.

RPM 2022. I finished a song.. does that count? Well the early bird Catches the worm Eats it up And shits it out Onto the lawn And into the dirt Where the worms crawl And use the soil to form To be eaten once more By the early birds…

This is great. Getting Paul McCartney vibes from this. The sort of ditty you can teach little kids to sing.
