it's deafening to walk around
to walk around with no sound
it's calm before the storm they say
but I still hear you cursing your style and you way
and were waiting
waiting
waiting for the wayward song to begin
waiting
waiting for the wayward…
Composed in the dead of a particularly snowy winter, this track and its companion (the double-speed, tritone-shifted "On Thin Ice") capture the essence of cabin fever.
Been listening to your music, and I must say I have liked what I've heard. I'm not usually one to listen to electronica, but your particular brand is the right mix of rhythm and moodiness that I find interesting.
Well done.

Full picture of the guitarron body - it sounded great - nicely deep.
The guitarron is fretless with a very short neck which reminds me of a giant Oud - the wikipedia article will give you an idea of just how huge this thing really is…
You never would have caught me playing this genre a few years ago. WHat the hell happened ??
All the instruments were recorded with an open mic at my house. Which, as you know is always a chaotic place to record :) If you listen hard enough…
One could use this to compare the changes I made to accommodate the change in tuning because this is the Centaur tuned piece but I changed the master tuning back to "standard" 12 equal.
Can't Stop Myself by Chris (Vaisvil) and the Clones - Gothic Techno-industrial metal - ISDN stereo => from 1996
Can't Stop Myself
the thoughts they in my head
spinning around
the thoughts they eat my head
and rip me down
they want me to do…
Well, I should give some background. Sometimes, for me, the difference in tunings are hard to discern - I don't have perfect or even good relative pitch discrimination. So I can get fooled. The Prelude for a Centaur tuned piano was actually composed…
indeed i thought the 1st was very "wholesome", this is the same piece, note wise as the former? if not if seems very similar to me,,, i enjoy both,, this one might have a bit more bite? anyway well done
I love this tune, it's a little bitter but still love it :)
i wrote it a couple of years ago, gladly it's here now, i really hope you like it.

This dark reggae tune has been hanging around in my "works in progress" folder for a while, but I was finally inspired to complete it when I borrowed a guitar from my friend Joe. Thanks, Joe!
First song from our first time performing in a concert setting. We were the opening act to the opening act to the main act for a benefit concert at our church. We raised $12,000! So here it is, warts and all! (We were nervous!)
Great drumming. Bass drum kicking "Son clave" pattern the entire time while he works on the snare/cymbals... this is very difficult (for me) to do - probably why I don't play trap-set.
Goodbye Blue Monday
-
Goodbye blue Monday
There's nothing else to say
We always knew
we would part this way
Time comes to say goodbye
To pause perhaps and wonder why
Why we always had to be
So blue, so blue
I can see that life…
Sloane did me a favor & played an electric guitar part on this one. I had hoped to work with her more on this project, but she wound up leaving town to help take care for a recovering family member.

Seventeen thousand…
Come Tomorrow
-
I'm like a tumbleweed, got no roots
I'm like a climbing vine, leaves and chutes
Come tomorrow, I might not be around
Come tomorrow
I'm a reflection, you see me in your mirror
A missed connection, so far and yet right here…
there's a story to the story of the fuzzy years of my life.
Unfinished song, just one progression looped really so far with words to the story.
it's "always the top of the street somewhere" was a phrase we used to describe how no matter what…

I love it!!! This is so awesome, great change-up... LG

Oh yes, off course that day i was waiting on youtube to see that Dave Gilmour up on the wall. I'll go to paris next week to see that show :)
Soft spot for reggae and that was cool.
Cool, reminded me of spaghetti westerns, and I love them, brilliant.
Cool, quite beautiful.

Cool, thanks.

Stunning and what a voice. Great.
hell ya!
Very enjoyable 30 minutes with some great touch of Gentle Giant, Spocks Beard and Transatlantic, and a lot of own style. Keep on with the good work!
This is very good stuff! Especially enjoying the organ parts.
